Children's ward has room for 60 patients but sometimes has far more. This
child (with her mother) is sleeping on a cot on a hallway floor due to
lack of bed space.

newborn baby is being held by it's aunt while the mother recovers.
Many
of the young children are hospitalized with malaria. It is a leading killer
of infants This child is gravely ill with malaria and receiving a transfusion.
